Tous les ans les Prix Hugo saluent écrivains de romans, de nouvelles et l’artiste le plus impressionnant dans une catégorie Best Professional Artist très courue. Cette année c’est Donato Giancola, formidable peintre et créateur d’univers qui reçoit ce Prix.
L’artiste Frank Wu reçoit le Prix Best Fan Artist, décerné pour son travail dans des revues semi-pro ou des fanzines.
